Waffle is our dog of the day. Many of you already know Waffle's story. "He was abandoned on the sidewalk in front of the Waffle House in Tunica when he was just a tiny puppy. The TV stations did a story on this adorable little puppy that was put out on the streets, all alone. He was quickly adopted by a family but recently was returned to our shelter because of health issues in the family. Waffle is now about 10 months old. He still has a great deal of puppy in him. He is very high energy and would do best in a home with another dog as a playmate. He loves children and needs a family that will spend lots of time with him. Waffle is still a work in progress but with some training, he will make some family a loyal, loving companion. He is a stunningly beautiful dog."
